Brad Childers
Brad Childers, known by most in the Kansas City area as "Coach Brad," has been coaching in KC since 1991. After his college playing days, Brad jumped right into coaching at the high school level. Now some 30 years later Coach Brad and his wife Kenda (an ultimate soccer mom) have 7 kids (3 boys and 4 girls) currently ages 28, 26, 24, 22, 20, 17, and 15. The 4 oldest played soccer at the college level, 1 is currently playing soccer at the University of Kansas, and 2 are still playing club soccer in Kansas City.

Coach Brad has seen success at the youth level where he won multiple Missouri State Cup championships, USYSA Regional Championships and made several appearances at USYSA Nationals ultimately bringing home 3rd place medals 3 times. He is a founder of KC Athletics Youth Club that services 1500+ players in the greater KC area. Currently Brad is the Missouri Director for KC Athletics and is a member of the clubs ECNL program coaching staff. He also works as a coach mentor developing young coaches to impact the next generation of players.
Coach Brad feels coaching is his calling, gift, and passion. He believes that as a coach he has a long term influence on his players’ lives and that it is important to inspire players to be habitually hard-working, intrinsically driven so they can maximize their God-given potential.
