Amanda Mitchell
Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge to The Player Project from working in non-profits for over 10 years, with her current role as the Associate Director of Development at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art.

Amanda has a heart for people and has dedicated her life to giving back to others. She grew up an athlete and has many ties to soccer, but her passion is swimming.
​
Prior to the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Amanda worked as the Community Development Officer for the American Cancer Society, as well as the Development Officer for United Soccer Coaches and did a substantial amount of fundraising for the United Soccer Coaches Foundation.
​
While in Kansas City, she worked as a soccer coach for Kansas City Parks and Rec as well as a swim coach for the Boys and Girls Club of Kansas City, both positions serving and volunteering for the underprivileged communities.
​
From 2010 to 2018, Amanda held positions as the Senior Program Director for the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, and the Director of Soccer for Success in Kansas City.
​
Additionally, Amanda currently volunteers her time as an Evaluator with KC Scholars and a Board Member for YouthRise KC.
​
Amanda is a graduate of UMass-Amherst, and currently resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
